The Martin Luther Kindergarten paid a visit to E.P. on Wednesday for the first time in quite a while. Our little explorer friends wanted to explore the garden at E.P. and, to wrap up their annual research theme on “Bees,” find out what kinds of plants grow and bloom there for the bees. After the children discovered our meadow knotweed, lavender, and other bee-friendly plants, they sang the bee song and held a little bee quiz for us at E.P. Of course, we were once again showered with gifts: a beautiful crepe paper flower complete with a bee and a small flower bed with marigolds, lemon balm, and ribwort plantain. It has already found its place in the E.P. garden at Werk 1.
