Eine Schülergruppe der Realschule Weingarten lauscht interessiert den Auisführungen zum Innenlegen eines schaltschranks

As an educational partner of Realschule Weingarten, promoting young talent is important to us – which is why we were delighted to welcome a 9th grade class from Realschule Weingarten on July 23. With practical insights and open discussions, we wanted to help bring job profiles to life and make them tangible. During an exciting tour of the company, the pupils were guided in small groups through three exciting stations, each of which gave them a compact and vivid insight into our diverse areas of work.

Experience electronics up close
In Plant 2 at Ettishoferstrasse 14, the focus was on the production of electronic components and control cabinets. Through practical demonstrations and entertaining explanations, the young people were able to experience the technical processes at first hand and get an idea of the day-to-day work. The insights showed how control cabinets are made from electronic parts and other components.

Insight into administration and automation
At Plant 1 in Brechenmacherstraße 2, the students learned more about our commercial processes and the exciting world of automation and software development. Here, too, they were actively involved and were able to ask questions, which were answered competently. In addition to a small but informative exhibition on the end products that are manufactured using E.P.-controlled systems, our visitors were able to experience first-hand how system automation works on a model system with Fischertechnik.

Training prospects for tomorrow
The morning was rounded off with an overview of our training professions – from electronics technician for devices and systems to warehouse logistics specialist and industrial clerk. Our aim was to provide initial guidance for future career decisions. Here too, many questions were asked and gladly answered by the training managers.

A successful visit
In the final round of discussions over a cool drink, the unanimous opinion was that the visit was not only informative, but also inspiring. We are delighted with the high level of interest and wish all the students every success in their future careers and, of course, a good time during the vacations that are about to begin!
