Many of our customers rely on our expertise in the planning, manufacture, and documentation of switch cabinets in accordance with UL.

The UL standard UL508a is the basis for the approval of control systems in the USA and Canada. We at E.P. are registered with UL and can plan, manufacture, and document your control system in accordance with UL508a.

In addition, we can label control systems that we have planned and manufactured here in Germany with a UL label. This offers our customers the following advantages:

Short distances and significantly lower costs for UL labeling in Germany
No need for costly individual certification of switchgear
UL-compliant planning, manufacturing, and documentation also serve as proof of competence for North American customers
Significantly simplified testing procedure in the USA

Material procurement

We take care of the procurement of your components. The production parts lists are imported into our ERP system and are available to the purchasing team.

Mechanical processing

On our milling machining centre we machine small enclosures or large control cabinets according to your specifications. The connection to our eCAD system enables us to react quickly and precisely to our customers’ requirements.

Preassembly and assembly

In pre-assembly, the control cabinet is equipped with components such as contactors, terminals, etc. and prepared for the electrical connection.

Labeling

Everyone benefits from consistent labelling of the components, whether during production, operation or servicing. A well-designed and standard-compliant labeling offers you and your customers clear added value.

Wire assembly

The fully automated assembly of the stranded wires enables us to carry out wiring at the control cabinet quickly, with reduced time and costs.
